Bit of this and that this summer…. A step-by-step transformation on this little French style Crapaud chair. Sometimes you quote the work on a chair and when it comes in and you start stripping it down it’s not what you’re expecting, well actually more than sometimes 🫣 Th A pair of large vintage Heals armchairs for a client in London who has the best eye for fabrics and patterns - swipe for the transformation! Both fabrics are @christopherfarrcloth #upholstery #upholsterernorwich #christpherfarr #norwich Yesterday was our end of year presentation at @upholstery_elfi It also marked the end of my time teaching there - I’ve made the decision to move on to focus on my business in Norwich and also start leisure classes! It’s very exciting so This chair was given to me years ago by my dear friend @emmacorrall and had been waiting to be given a new lease of life. I’ve finally had the time to fully reupholster it from the frame up and it’s happily living in my (unfinished) livin Two pieces I reupholstered were in The New York Times last week - displayed as part of Frieze week. Original Pierre Jeanneret chair and sofa for @rajan_bijlani_ Well….its taken me almost 2 months to post since a very big life move, to Norwich! I’ve been hesitating sharing, not because I’m not enjoying it but because, I guess I was very sad to be leaving London and most importantly leaving Started off tame and finished wild!! Love it when the client has a bold vision 🐯. Fully reupholstered with traditional materials and techniques, this was such a pleasure to work on. Thank you @ourdarkreno for trusting me with this one #upholstery # Gorgeous little Napoleon III French sofa - which came stripped with original upholstery in amazing condition. Just needed second stuffing and a lot of patience getting that lumbar on wrinkle free.
